Accessing Offline Mode
- After signing into your Mapistry Mobile App, you will be directed to the Landing Page, where you can manage all your sites in one location.
2. Navigate to Settings by tapping the Settings Icon on your screen's bottom right and then tap "Offline Access."
3. Select the site you'd like to download, then tap on 'Download Offline Version.' If you are a part of many sites, this download may take a minute. A progress bar will appear, demonstrating the amount of memory the account requires.
4. After downloading offline mode once, you are all set to use Mapistry offline. The app will automatically turn "offline" if there is no connection, or you can tap on 'Force Offline Mode' if you are in areas with low signal.
Working in Offline Mode
While offline mode is enabled, a notification bar on the top of your screen will demonstrate any pending changes that need to be synced with the server and the date of your last sync. The mobile app will automatically sync with the server once the connection is restored.
You are able to create, manage, and complete both inspections and tasks while offline. Logs are currently unavailable offline and will need to be completed while online.
💡You won't be able to edit Inspections that were started and completed while outside Offline Mode.
